USIEA has developed a network of 60 Chinese universities located in a variety of provinces and cities, including “211/985 Project” universities, and universities administered by education authorities at the provincial level. Each year, USIEA links over 1,000 students from partner Chinese universities with study abroad opportunities at leading US universities.
USIEA is dedicated to serving as a high quality agency with the exceptional level of service expected from a boutique firm. To this end, we work with university partners in China and the US to select quality students, rather than recruiting students using a mass market approach. The result is that we work with fewer students, however, this helps ensure that students succeed while overseas. USIEA selects students exclusively from Chinese partner universities, ensuring that students are well prepared to go abroad, both academically and socially. USIEA screens students not only by reviewing their application materials, but also by interviewing each student face to face or via telephone, to ensure that all students in the program are well qualified. Students participate in study abroad programs with approval from their home universities, and then return to their home universities to complete their degree after studying abroad in the US.
We also work with our US partner universities to provide transcript evaluation from independent third party providers such as WES, in addition to official TOEFL or IELTS scores to ensure accuracy. When working with a partner university, we strive to make the process as transparent as possible to gain the confidence of all parties involved.
